Recovery of steam engines

It is well-konwn amongst small scale live steam drivers that the loco will normally run out of fuel in an inaccessible spot, often in THE most inaccessible spot on the line. It is therefore useful to have a loco which is man enough to fetch a dead steamer. The EMR's battery Hunslet is such a loco. Here is the Hunslet hauling Kestrel and the whole train up the 1 in 40 Evensford bank.
